Election of Officers and Directors take place at the RWBA 600 Club’s annual meeting each year. The RWBA 600 Club has 2 term board groups that alternate. Each position has a term of 2 years, beginning on the day of election. To be considered for any position, candidates must abide by the following:
- Nominations of officers and directors shall be submitted by the RWBA 600 Club Nominating Committee.
- To be eligible for the office of President, ideally, a candidate would have served on the board previously as an officer or director, but it is not required.
- Candidate must complete and submit a Candidate form for Officer or Director in the timely manner described on the form.
- Candidate must be in good standing with the RWBA 600 Club Board of Directors.
- Candidate must be a sanctioned member, in good standing, of the USBCA and participating in a sanctioned league with jurisdiction in the Capital Area USBC Association during the current season at the time of nomination.
- Candidate must remain a member, in good standing, of the RWBA 600 Club and sanctioned member of the USBCA at the time of her election and throughout her term of office.
- Candidate must agree to be knowledgeable, abide by any and all responsibilities and duties of the position(s) of which they are requesting nomination.
