Member’s General Policies and Guidelines:

  • Member’s of the RWBA 600 Club are required to be in good standing with the RWBA, CAUSBCA, NCSUSBCA and USBCA.
  • Member’s of the RWBA 600 Club are required to abide by all Club and USBCA rules and policies.
  • Member’s of the RWBA 600 Club, are a part on the Club’s Membership Committee. She shall be responsible for promoting the club, helping to recruit new members, be knowledgeable of the club, it’s purpose and to share club awareness, news, events, etc. with their fellow female bowler’s.
  • Member’s pay an initial $10.00 membership fee. There is no annual fee and membership is lifetime. Member’s only need to score an initial (one time), 600 series (or better) to be qualified for lifetime membership, other than original membership eligibility. Member’s do not need to re-qualify or maintain any average or series.
  • Member’s of the RWBA 600 Club are asked to donate a silent auction item for each of the two open tournaments.

Member Uniform Policies and Guidelines

  • Member’s of the RWBA 600 Club are required to wear the Club’s uniform and Club colors during public RWBA 600 Club meetings, events and tournaments. The RWBA 600 Club’s colors are Red, White and Navy. The uniform is to consist of any style white or red shirt with navy colored bottoms (slacks, pants, skirt, city shorts, dark blue jeans are permitted). Members not in uniform will not be permitted to participate in either membership or open events without penalty.
  • The RWBA 600 Club Chevron patch is to be worn, centered, on the left shoulder and the National 600 Club Chevron patch shall be worn, centered, on the right shoulder.
  • Member’s of the RWBA 600 Club are encouraged to contact Raleigh Tees for their RWBA 600 Club uniform shirt. Shirts can be altered or purchased directly. Shirt’s can be embroidered with your name/club info/etc. (front/back), if interested, they can also attach Club Chevron’s. Ask for the RWBA 600 Club template they have on file. Members can also contact any member of the Uniform Committee for additional uniform shirt options.

Annual Membership Meeting

  • Candidate forms for open Officer and Director positions will be posted and available prior to the annual meeting. All Club member’s in good standing, are eligible to run for a position(s) on the board.* Member’s requesting nomination for any office (candidate or incumbent), must complete and submit the Candidate for Officer/Director form along with any credentials, per the form requirements, in order to be added to the nominee voting list.
    *(For all RWBA 600 Club offices, a candidate must be an RWBA 600 Club member in good standing. To be eligible for the Office of President, ideally a candidate would have served on the Board previously, as an Officer or Director, but is not required.)
  • Member’s requesting bylaw changes, must submit a proposed amendment form to the Legislative Committee no later than one month prior to the annual meeting date. Download the Bylaw Proposed Amendment form.
  • From submission candidates, an award shall be presented to the RWBA 600 Club member at the annual meeting, who has bowled the highest 600+ series during the previous season. **
  • From submission candidates, an award shall be presented to the RWBA 600 Club member at the annual meeting, who has bowled the most 600 (or better) series during the previous season. **
  • From submission nominees that shall be submitted by the membership, in writing, one member per year, shall be awarded the Spirit Award at the Annual Membership Meeting. This member is one that shows the most Club “Spirit” and is to be nominated via another club member. That member nominated will be selected, from submissions received, by the RWBA Executive Board at their first meeting of the new year, prior to the Annual Membership Meeting. Candidate submissions must be submitted by December 31st, of the year prior to the Annual Membership Meeting for which the candidate is to be nominated for selection.
    Spirit Award Form (submissions can also be made to the Nominating Committee, via email or in letter form).

**(One person may not win both awards.)


Non-Members:

We encourage and welcome Non-Members of the RWBA 600 Club! Adult, USBCA sanctioned Male and Female bowlers are very much welcome to compete and enjoy our open tournaments and open events! To participate in any RWBA 600 Club Tournament or event as a Non-Member of the RWBA 600 Club we ask that:

  • Non-Members must abide by any and all RWBA 600 Club rules/policies that apply and also abide by all USBCA rules and policies.
  • Non-Members are to contact any RWBA 600 Club Officer with any questions, concerns or disputes.
  • Non-Members participating in RWBA 600 Club tournaments/events, must be USBCA sanctioned. His/Her average must be certified and verified through USBCA (www.bowl.com) and he/she must be in good standing.
  • Non-Members are required to verify the accuracy of any average submitted. Failure to do so in any event may be subject to disqualification.
  • Non-Members agree to abide by all tournament/event rules set by the tournament/event director without dispute.

General:

  • If paying for an event/tournament by check, a $35.00 service fee will be charged for any return checks. Scores bowled by an entrant(s) of a returned check are subject to disqualification.
  • Any entry received after the posted deadline, it will be considered late and will be returned.
  • The use of powder, Easy Slide, Rosin, Pumice, Aerosol, etc. on shoes or any substance that may come off, damage, alter any manner of the normal conditions of the approach or impede in anyway, in an event or tournament, is strictly prohibited.
  • If you have entered an event/tournament and are unable to participate, contact the tournament/event director within 24 hours prior to the event check in time.
  • The RWBA 600 Club has the right to re-rate or reject any tournament/event entry. Entries are subject to be refunded at the tournament/event director’s discretion.
  • Any playing rules for tournaments/events not covered directly or by the tournament/event rules will be governed by USBCA rules.
  • Any questions, concerns and disputes will be decided by the tournament/event director and/or the RWBA 600 Club Board of Directors. Any and all decisions made will be final and will be at their discretion.
  • Unless otherwise noted, entrants are not required to report any previous tournament prize winnings as a condition of entry.
  • Prize monies and official tournament results will be posted (on our Tournament Page) and/or mailed out within 30 days of the close of the tournament/event.
  • In the case of inclement weather, any changes to a tournament/event will be posted on this site, the center will be contacted and any additional information will be available on our Upcoming Events page.
